Computer Classes
Want to learn how to use the computer? Career Solutions offers three computer classes for those who want to learn basic skills and those who already know how to use a computer but want more advanced skills.
Digital Literacy
Digital literacy classes are offered at each Career Solutions location at least once a week. Our Digital Literacy class includes:
- Computer basics
- Resume writing
- Online job search
Our Career Solutions center in downtown Nashville offers a class in which you’ll learn how to open an e-mail account and how to use e-mail for job searches and job applications.
IC3 Classes
Our Career Solutions in downtown Nashville offers an Internet and Computing Core Certification (IC3) class for beginning computer users. This class covers three modules: Computing Fundamentals, Key Applications, and Living Online. The fee for this course is $500. MOS Classes
Our Career Solutions in downtown Nashville offers a Microsoft Office Specialist Certification Course. This 10-12 week computer class is an intensive program offered to intermediate computer users in four modules and covers Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel. When you complete each module you will be tested on-site and you must pass the exam in order to receive certification. The cost for this course is $1,700.43.
